Application form and prospectus for the State-level admission to the B.Ed Course can be obtained from the distribution centres of the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
Application form for the management seats can be had from the College Office.
Application forms duly filled should reach the respective officers within the sheduled time.
Admission to the Merit seats is regulated on the basis of merit as assessed by giving weightage to the marks obtained in the Aptitude Test and in the Qualifying Examination in the ratio of 6:4
Candidate who are provisionnally selected for admission shall be enrolled only when they produce all the certificates mentioned in the prospectus and pay the fee (Admission fee / Tution fee / special fee etc)
Any candidate who is found to have secured admission by false representation will be sent out forthwith forfieting the fee paid.
RULES OF
CONDUCT
1.
Students shall be clean and modest in their dress and appearance and behave with dignity and courtesy
2.
Students and teachers should wish each other whenever and wherever they meet.
3.
All Students shall be in their respective class- rooms or work spot within the scheduled time.
4.
Students are not permitted to come late.
5.
Students shall observe strict discipline while moving from one classroom to the other and also during intervals.
6.
No meeting or entertainment shall be organised without the permission of the Principal
7.
Students found guilty of going to other institution to take part in acts of indiscipline will be punished accordingly.
8.
The Principal shall have the power to impose the following punishments; fine; loss of attendance, suspension and compulsory issue of T .C.
9.
Conduct certificate is not issued as a matter of course. It has to be earned by the student's good conduct. The Principal's decision shall be final regarding the conduct of students.
10.
No student shall appear for an interview or examination without prior permission of the Principal.
11.
Students are forbidden from handling furniture items or laboratory equipment without the knowledge of the Principal or concerned staff members.
12.
Mobile Phones are not permitted in the campus.
13.
Addressing any gathering in the college premises without the permission of the Principal is irregular except for college union activities.
14.
Students are directed to utilise the library service to the maximum extent possible.
LEAVE AND ATTENDANCE
RULES
1.
Students are not permitted to absent them- selves without leave. Application for leave in the prescribed form should be submitted sufficiently earlier.
2.
Absence without leave for part of a day and a full day is regarded as absence for one day.
3.
Absence for 5 consecutive working days will be considered as a sufficient reason for removal of one's name from the rolls.
4.
Leave may be granted for not more that ten days at a stretch including holidays. In the case of unavoidable reasons additional leave may be granted on production of certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
5.
The Certificate of Attendance required by the University for admission to the University Examination will not be granted unless the Principal is satisfied that the student's conduct and progress have been satisfactory and the students have attended three fourth of the working days in the academic year.
6.
Absence from the class tests, model examination and work experience - oriented activities without valid reasons will be treated as breach of discipline.
7.
Students are not permitted to take leave dur ing Teaching Practice (at School) under ordinary circumstances and under extra ordinary circu mstances they have to submit their leave application to the respective headmasters/ Principals and the matter should be intimated to the concerned lecturer and the days should be compensated before leaving the school
